Man found guilty of murder in deaths of 3 neighbors in Portland, Oregon

A man in Portland, Oregon, has been convicted of murder for shooting and killing three of his neighbors. Brett Pruett, 61, was found guilty of multiple charges including first-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon, burglary, and assault. The incident occurred in July 2020 when police discovered three people dead at a residence in northeast Portland. The motive behind the killings was related to a property dispute, as Pruett had been trying to take ownership of the houses owned by the deceased neighbor. He will be sentenced in January.
