Sarpanch of parched Revangaon gives water from his borewells to villagers
Sachin Mulik, the young sarpanch of Revangaon village in Maharashtra, has been providing drinking water to the villagers from his own farm. With the support of his brother, he laid a pipeline connecting a farm pond to a public well, ensuring that nearly 250 households have access to sufficient water. While the villagers appreciate his efforts, they are also seeking a more permanent solution to their water scarcity issues. The state government has approved a project to lift water from the Krishna River, but funds have not been allocated yet.
