Businessman held for Pocso Act offence in Tamil Nadu escapes from police custody

A businessman in Chennai, India, who was arrested for sexually abusing his teenage employee, escaped from police custody at a hospital. The accused fled through a bathroom window while being escorted by police officers. Special teams have been formed to track down and apprehend the escaped individual. The businessman was arrested in May after the victim filed a complaint with the police.
