NEET syllabus on NMC website, HC informed

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has uploaded the syllabus for the NEET examination on its website, according to an affidavit submitted to the Delhi High Court. The affidavit was filed in response to a petition by the father of a class 12 student who is preparing for NEET. The petition argues that the exam is based on the NCERT books of Class 11 and 12, as determined by the NMC. The petitioner claims that the recent reduction and deletion of chapters from the books has caused confusion among candidates regarding the syllabus. The NMC has not yet responded to the petitioner’s requests for a certified copy of the syllabus.
