Zoo worker killed in elephant attack
A 23-year-old animal keeper named Mohammad Shaibaz was killed by a male elephant at Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad. Shaibaz was cleaning the enclosure when the elephant pushed him into a wall, causing fatal head injuries. Despite efforts to save him, he was declared dead at the hospital. The elephant had a history of attacking people and had two legs chained to prevent further incidents. The zoo authorities were planning to send the elephant for training in Karnataka. Condolences were offered to Shaibaz’s family.
