The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) airport in Ahmedabad is experiencing a surge in private jet movement due to the World Cup. Estimates suggest that over 200 jets will be flying in for the opening match and the highly anticipated India-Pakistan match. This private jet traffic is on top of the already busy schedule of over 250 scheduled flights per day.
