Stopped from meeting BF, girl poisons her mom

A 16-year-old girl in Rae Bareli served poison-laced tea to her mother after her mother objected to her relationship with a boy. The girl panicked and sought help from neighbors when her mother fell unconscious. The mother was admitted to the hospital and is now out of danger. The girl asked her boyfriend to bring the poison from the market. The girl and her boyfriend have been booked under Section 328 of the IPC. The girl’s father works in another district and she lives with her mother.
