Human traffickers in net after 1-yr chase
Two alleged international human traffickers, Aziza Tanrykulyyeva from Turkmenistan and Sherget from Afghanistan, have been arrested in India after a year-long hunt. The couple was wanted in multiple cases in Delhi and were involved in an international crime syndicate. They allegedly trafficked women from CIS countries into India and ran a large-scale prostitution racket. The accused were located in Calangute, Goa, and were apprehended with the assistance of local police. They have been produced before a court and their transit remand obtained.
