Transfer station not yet functional, trucks dump waste on nearby plot

Residents of Govindpuram in Ghaziabad are upset about illegal garbage dumping on a disputed plot next to a non-operational waste transfer station, and are demanding that the authorities relocate it. Around 50 trucks allegedly throw garbage on the plot, which poses health and sanitation risks. Despite complaints and protests, the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation has not taken any action. The residents are concerned that when the station becomes operational, there will be even more trucks causing a nuisance. The GMC officials have asked for pictures of the trucks dumping garbage, but no action has been taken.
