Puri temple to bar ‘indecently clad’ devotees

Devotees in ripped jeans, sleeveless t-shirts and in anything thats looks ‘indecent’ will not be allowed to enter the Jagannath Temple in Puri from January 1, 2024, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) said on Monday. SJTA said it is urging devotees to maintain utmost decency in their attire, while offering prayers to the deities.
