Chaos on Lucknow roads as protesting teachers catch traffic police napping

Thousands of teachers from government schools in Lucknow caused a traffic gridlock when they staged a protest at the UP basic education directorate. The teachers arrived in buses, parking them in various locations, leading to traffic snarls in several parts of the city. The protest lasted for over six hours, causing inconvenience to daily commuters and resulting in missed trains. The teachers did not have permission for the protest and the police have said that action will be taken against them.
