Another twist in Faizal case, Supreme Court restores Lok Sabha membership

In a big relief to Lakshadweep MP Mohammed Faizal who was recently disqualified by Lok Sabha Secretariat after his conviction in a criminal case was not stayed by Kerala high court, the Supreme Court on Monday restored his membership to the House by staying thehigh court order and reviving its earlier order of protecting him. The NCP MP has been twice disqualified and his membership has also been restored twice within a year.
