Islamabad police ask illegal immigrants to shift to special camp within 48 hours

The Islamabad police have issued a 48-hour notice to all illegal immigrants in Pakistan to voluntarily move to a designated camp in I-12. The settlement, home to over 5,000 Afghan refugees, has been in existence for 25 years. The police have also completed e-tagging of legal foreign residents to identify illegal immigrants. A cooperative housing society in the capital has also instructed owners to evict any illegal foreign tenants.
