Indian people stand with Israel, PM Modi says to Netanyahu; Israel PM assures support for safety of Indians

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed solidarity with Israel during a phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Modi condemned terrorism in all its forms and highlighted the safety and security of Indian citizens in Israel. There are approximately 18,000 Indian nationals in the country. The leaders agreed to remain in close touch, and India’s response to the conflict has so far been limited to Modi’s tweets and a readout of his conversation with Netanyahu.
