Hold your hand, CJI tells AIIMS doctors on termination

The Chief Justice of India (CJI) has asked AIIMS doctors to hold off on terminating a 26-week-old pregnancy, despite a medical team advising against it. The doctors sought clarification from the court on whether they should perform foeticide or carry out a pre-term delivery, as the foetus is viable. The CJI has been asked to reconstitute a special bench of women judges for further clarification.
