TN CM, ADMK spar over early release of ‘Muslim lifers’

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin criticized the AIADMK for its sudden support for Muslim prisoners serving life sentences, questioning why they did not take action during their 10-year tenure. The AIADMK, led by opposition leader Edappadi K Palaniswami, staged a walkout in response. Stalin highlighted the government’s efforts in addressing the premature release of life convicts and stated that a committee had been set up to investigate the matter.
