New Haryana Expressway set to cut north-west travel time
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is planning to build an 86km road to connect the Trans-Haryana Expressway to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The new expressway, costing Rs 1,400 crore, will provide a faster route for traffic between north and west India, while also reducing pressure on Delhi-NCR. Commuters from J&K, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab will be able to take the Trans-Haryana Expressway before connecting to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Alwar. The new road will improve access to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway for more Haryana districts and decongest NH-44.
