NIOS to offer Jain monks & nuns free education till Class 12

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced that it will provide free education up to Class 12 to Jain monks and nuns who migrate for religious work. NIOS plans to open new study centers in several states, including Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Rajasthan, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh. The Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Mahasabha (JSTM) has signed an MoU with NIOS to provide financial backing for the centers, which will offer courses and exams free of cost.
