What plastic ban? Delhi leads pack of violators

A report by Toxics Link reveals that Delhi has the lowest compliance with the ban on single-use plastic products among five surveyed cities. The study found that 88% of the survey points in Delhi still provide banned items. While malls and metro stations showed strong adherence to the ban, lax enforcement was observed in shopping centers, weekly markets, and wholesale markets. The study highlights the need for better enforcement of the ban and the evaluation of substitutes for single-use plastics.
