CM flags off Bhim Sansad raths

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of Bihar has flagged off Bhim Sansad raths as part of his efforts to reach out to Dalits and backward classes ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Bhim Sansad aims to caution these sections of society about the Modi government’s alleged plans to scrap their reservation rights. Kumar has been credited with empowering the Dalits and Mahadalits socially, politically, and economically during his 18 years in power. The recent caste survey conducted by the Bihar government has highlighted the significant presence of OBCs and EBCs in the state’s population.
