Cop denies entry to truck, manhandled

A traffic police head constable in Bengaluru was allegedly manhandled by a group of nine people after he stopped a truck from entering the city during peak hours. The constable had explained to the driver that heavy goods vehicles were banned during certain hours, but the owner of the truck argued with him. The group of people arrived at the scene in an SUV and allegedly abused and assaulted the constable. The group managed to escape before the police could arrive. The constable sustained injuries during the incident.
