Excise case: Delhi court extends Sanjay Singh’s custody till October 13
AAP MP Sanjay Singh’s custody with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has been extended until October 13 in the money laundering case related to the alleged liquor policy scam. The ED stated that Singh’s behavior was non-cooperative and he refused to provide information about his previous phones. Fresh evidence has also emerged regarding Singh’s alleged involvement in demanding payment from a liquor businessman. The court ordered the investigating officer to complete the analysis of digital data and interrogation by October 13. Singh’s lawyer opposed the extension of custody, stating that the presented facts do not justify it.
