Cryptocurrency stolen from Delhi lands in Hamas wallets
The Delhi Police’s Special Cell investigated a case of cryptocurrency theft from a businessman’s wallet. Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, provided information about suspect wallets operated by terrorist groups, including the al Qassam brigades of Hamas. The Special Cell’s Intelligence Fusion & Strategic Ops unit discovered that some of the wallets that received stolen assets were operated by the cyber terrorism wing of Hamas. Israeli authorities froze cryptocurrency accounts held by Hamas and urged Binance to transfer the seized funds. This is the first instance of Hamas’ activity in India.
