2 terrorists, one of them involved in Pandit’s killing, shot

Two militants belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were killed in a gunfight with security forces in J&K’s Shopian district. One of the militants was involved in the murder of a Kashmiri Pandit in Pulwama in February. The operation was conducted jointly by the Army and J&K police based on intelligence inputs. A cache of weapons, including two AK rifles and a pistol, was found at the site. In a separate incident, a rundown building of Darul Uloom in Pulwama, where two terrorists were killed last year, was demolished.
