Biopic on iconic Baul artist Parvathy Baul on the cards!

In 2022, filmmaker Soumyajit Majumdar debuted with ‘#homecoming’, and recently won the Best Director award at the Gange Sur Seine Film Festival in Paris. Majumdar is now working on a biopic on legendary Parvathy Baul, the world-renowned Baul performer from Bengal, India. After extensive research and interviews, Parvathy has given her consent for the project. Parvathy, a practitioner of the ancient Baul tradition, has showcased her mesmerizing vocal and instrumental talents in over forty countries.
