Mentally ill son guards mom’s corpse for 4 days

A mentally ill man in Kolkata was found living with the decomposed body of his mother, who is believed to have died at least 72 to 96 hours before. The body was discovered in a locked room, leading authorities to suspect foul play and investigate the son, who is also mentally ill. The mother and son had been living in the building for several years and relied on rental income for survival. A post-mortem examination has been ordered.
