BJP’s Shahnawaz Hussain moves SC against rape FIR

BJP’s Shahnawaz Hussain, within hours of the Delhi HC ordering registration of a rape FIR against him, moved the Supreme Court. His advocate, Mohit Paul, told a bench headed by CJI N V Ramana that registration of an FIR against him based on an allegedly false complaint to frame him would lead to loss of reputation built over 30 years as a public figure.
