Following his critically acclaimed film ‘8/12 Binay Badal Dinesh’, this anticipated Bengali film, releasing in both Bengali and Hindi, focuses on Jatindranath Mukhopadhyay, a national hero in the Indian freedom movement, famously named ‘Bagha Jatin’ after killing a tiger bare-handedly. Ensuring authenticity, Roy’s team conducted thorough research on the era’s customs, costumes, and architecture, emphasizing the importance of accurate representation in historical films.
