NASA unveils the largest sample from Bennu asteroid

NASA has released the first images of the sample collected from asteroid Bennu by the OSIRIS-REx mission. The spacecraft collected rock and dust from Bennu in 2020 and returned to Earth two weeks ago. The selection of Bennu was based on its abundance of organic compounds and its orbit, which simplified the roundtrip mission.
