Former NFL player Sergio Brown in custody for alleged connection to mother’s death

Former NFL defensive back Sergio Brown has been taken into custody by San Diego police in connection with the death of his mother, Myrtle Brown, in Maywood, Illinois. Sergio Brown reentered the United States from Mexico and is currently held in San Diego awaiting extradition to Illinois.
