‘Bihar caste survey being discussed in other states’

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced that the details of the Bihar caste survey, including the economic conditions of households, would be presented in the state legislature during the next session. He mentioned that the survey has gained attention in other states as well. However, he avoided commenting on whether the survey would lead to an increase in quotas for backward classes and extremely backward classes. The CM also dismissed the BJP’s allegation that the survey was manipulated to favor the RJD’s ‘MY’ combination (Muslim-Yadav).
