‘Akelli’ producer Ninad Vaidya sheds light on Nushrratt Bharuccha’s Isreal ordeal; compares the crises with 26/11

Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha and the crew of the film ‘Akelli’ faced a harrowing experience during their stay in Israel for the Haifa International Film Festival. They were caught in the conflict between Israel and Palestine, with air raid alarms going off and uncertainty prevailing. With the help of the Indian Embassy and a taxi driver, they managed to reach the airport and eventually secure a connecting flight to return to India. Nushrratt is now in a stable condition after the traumatic experience.
