Officials, teachers of a university on dharna against students

Officials and professors at Jadavpur University in Kolkata staged a protest against the demands and unruly behavior of a group of hostel boarders. The boarders, who were recommended for punishment following the death of a first-year student, opposed the exclusion of hostel representation from administrative and policymaking bodies.
