Tanuvas introduces rabbit vaccine to cure snuffles, farms in TN may rise

Researchers from Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University have developed a vaccine to treat snuffles, a common respiratory disease in rabbits. This autogenous vaccine has the potential to increase rabbit farming in the state. The vaccine will be distributed at a cost of ₹1 per rabbit and can be administered from three to four weeks old, with a booster after two weeks. This breakthrough could have a significant impact on rabbit production and generate more income in the industry.
