Man dumps stillborn child in the Cooum

A man in Chennai, India, took his stillborn child from a hospital without informing anyone, including his wife, and threw the body into a river. The man, Santhosh Kumar, later told his relatives that he couldn’t afford to conduct the child’s last rites. He was arrested by the police but released on bail. The police recovered the child’s body and sent it for autopsy.
