East Singhbhum health dept takes steps to prevent dengue spread from pandals

The East Singhbhum health department in Jamshedpur has implemented various measures to prevent dengue at Puja pandals. These include identifying and removing mosquito breeding sources, ensuring bhog handis and polythene bags are not holding water, displaying banners to spread awareness, installing separate bins for waste, and sensitizing hospitals to provide emergency medical aid. Private healthcare centers are also allowed to promote themselves at the pandals as long as they carry dengue awareness messages. Despite some reduction in cases, the district still has 158 dengue patients undergoing treatment.
