18 yrs after PIL, HMDA gives HC Ramanthapur lake FTL outline

The municipal administration department and the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) have furnished a preliminary notification to the high court regarding the protection of Ramanthapur lake, also known as Pedda Cheruvu. The notification includes details of the full tank level (FTL), and the state has assured that the final notification will be issued within a month after resolving objections. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) commissioner has also informed the court that steps are being taken to desilt the lake, fence the area, and prevent soil erosion.
