Far away from India, Kukis fight for Israel against Hamas

Over 200 Kukis, a community with roots in Manipur and Mizoram, are serving in the Israel Defence Force (IDF) and are ready for combat. The Kukis emigrated to Israel under the country’s open-door policy for members of a recognized ‘lost Jewish tribe’.
