The Kapil Sharma Show fame Sumona Chakravarti wishes ‘Shubho Mahalaya’; writes ‘Just a week to go’

Today marks Mahalaya, the end of Pitri Paksha and the start of Matri Paksha. Sumona Chakravarti celebrated by posting pictures in traditional attire and expressing excitement for the upcoming Durga Puja festivities. Devoleena Bhattacharjee also shared pictures of herself in a beautiful pink saree with Durga and her children embroidered on it. Mahalaya is believed to be the day when Goddess Durga begins her journey from Kailash to Earth.
