Corruption embedded in Congress’s DNA: BJP after IT sleuths seize Rs 42 crore from Karnataka contractor

The BJP has accused the Congress party of having corruption embedded in its DNA, linking it to a contractor from whom the Income Tax Department allegedly recovered Rs 42 crore in cash. Union minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar stated that the contractor had written to the prime minister last year labelling the BJP government in Karnataka as a “40 percent commission government”. The allegations come in the wake of the Income Tax Department’s recovery of cash in Bengaluru.
