India chooses US firm for engines of indigenous light tanks

India has selected American company Cummins to supply engines for its indigenous light tanks, aimed at countering Chinese deployments in high altitudes. The project, named Project Zorawar, faced delays when a German firm failed to reach an agreement for engine supply.
