Government must focus on reforms to lower cost of doing business: Ex-CEA

Krishnamurthy Subramanian, India’s executive director to the International Monetary Fund, has emphasized the need for the government to focus on implementing land, labor, logistics, and other reforms to reduce the cost of doing business. He also suggested that state governments should be discouraged from providing freebies and instead prioritize economic development and empowerment.
