Private sector help key for MDBs to boost healthcare, education: FM

India’s Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, stated that the private sector and philanthropies can play a crucial role in improving healthcare, education, poverty reduction, and climate action. An independent expert group, co-chaired by Larry Summers and NK Singh, recommended tapping into the private sector and foundations to raise resources for climate action and other global public goods.
