Uddhav Sena to join hands with socialist ‘parivar’

The Shiv Sena is initiating a dialogue with socialist parties and leaders to form an alliance ahead of next year’s Lok Sabha and assembly polls. Party chief Uddhav Thackeray will interact with leaders of the Samajwadi Janata Parivar, and an alliance between the Shiv Sena and the socialist parties is likely to be sealed. This alliance could help the Shiv Sena gain significant support and create a politically strong anti-BJP alliance in Maharashtra. The Shiv Sena has previously allied with secular and socialist parties on multiple occasions.
