A lot can happen over a cup of Koraput coffee

Koraput district in India has gained global recognition for its coffee production. The region, which was previously known for tribal poverty, now boasts over 3,500 hectares of coffee cultivation and around 4,300 growers. The success is thanks to the efforts of Ajit Rout, a former liaison officer of the Coffee Board, who set up a Coffee Development Trust in 2017.
