Why did Alicia Keys’ ‘paragliding’ post spark backlash?

Alicia Keys faced backlash on Instagram after posting a picture of herself and expressing her desire for paragliding. Commenters criticized her for the post, linking it to the recent Israel-Hamas conflict. Keys deleted the post and clarified that it was unrelated to the loss of innocent lives. Her music manager, Guy Oseary, defended her on Instagram, stating that she is not antisemitic and meant no harm. Oseary highlighted Keys’ positive influence and humanitarian work. The Israel-Hamas conflict has resulted in the deaths of around 1,400 people.
