Former chief minister and AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami announced that his party would lead a grand alliance for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and win all 40 seats. He also asserted that the AIADMK would not have an alliance with the BJP for both the 2024 LS polls and the 2026 assembly election.
