14 die as blasts rip through 2 fire works units near Sivakasi

Thirteen people, mostly women, were killed and two others injured in a series of explosions at a firecracker manufacturing unit in Virudhunagar, India. The blasts were triggered by sparks from firecrackers being tested on the road. The victims were working in sheds set up illegally behind a firecracker shop.
