Election in sight, Congress to bolster ground strength

The Congress party in India has begun reviving its presence at the grassroots level in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The party has started appointing representatives at each polling booth to ensure all eligible voters are registered and to spread the party’s message to households. This move comes as the Congress party aims to present itself as a viable alternative to the AAP and BJP, who have dominated Delhi’s electoral politics in recent years. The Congress party plans to hold a convention for its workers ahead of the elections.
