Food fiesta & more: Durga Puja a cultural extravaganza

The Bengali community in New Delhi kicks off their Durgotsab celebrations with Ananda Mela, a fun fair featuring a wide variety of Bengali dishes. The mela will be held at Chittaranjan Park’s B Block and will offer delicacies from restaurants like Chicago Pizza, Delhi 6, Rolls Mania, Badmash Kebab, and Taps of Heaven. Other puja samitis in the city also offer a range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options during the festivities. The Ananda Mela is organized by a team of women who cook and bring their dishes for the event.
